2025 Confidence Survey
We know that girls are full of brilliance, strength, and promise. We see it in the classroom.
But too often, the world tells them to shrink. To settle. To stay quiet.
At Girl Gonna Launch, we’re encouraging them to dream BIG. And when we asked parents what they dreamed for their daughters, we heard something promising…
What We Heard from Parents Across the Country
Through our annual survey, we asked hundreds of parents to share what they hope for their daughters, and what worries them most.
We found that over 80% of parents said they would fully support their daughter if she wanted to become an entrepreneur. That support jumped even higher for moms and high-income families. Parents aren’t afraid of big dreams. They’re ready to cheer their girls on.
But when we asked what might get in the way, a different story emerged.
The #1 barrier? Money
Words like “cost,” “debt,” and “financial instability” came up again and again.
Parents also noted systemic obstacles like societal norms or “current climate.”
There are roadblocks that stop too many brilliant girls before they even get started.
But when we give them the tools to push past those barriers:
financial literacy,
entrepreneurship training,
and a community that believes in them
they rise.
We started Girl Gonna Launch because we believe that every girl no matter her zip code or her family’s income deserves the chance to lead, to create, and to build wealth on her own terms.
We’re not just teaching girls how to start a business.
We’re helping them see themselves as:
Innovators
Change-makers
Financially independent young women
From building their first pitch deck to learning how to fund a venture, our girls are doing the work and doing it with heart, courage, and creativity.
They’re not waiting for someone to hand them a future.
They’re building it, together.
